A comfortable library will make the students want to come in and enjoy the space. Not many of us like to sit at hard tables with hard chairs to read, but we expect our students to. The goal of this project is to create a comfortable atmosphere that will bring the kids in and allow them to grow that love for reading that is necessary to develop their reading and literacy skills. Bean bags and comfortable chairs provide a place for the students to kick back and enjoy a good book. Couches provide a great place for collaboration among peers and teachers. Rocking chairs help those that need to be moving. By donating to this project, you will be helping to build an atmosphere that fosters a love for reading which will transfer over to many parts of our students lives.
