Like most classes, my students have a large range in abilities. But one thing they all have in common is a lack of resources. Since the beginning of the year I have repeatedly encouraged families to purchase a pair of headphones for their child. The benefits of being able to utilize the sound on a computer are enormous. Only two families have been able to follow through. Those two students are able to watch instructional videos for exactly what they need, while others students are limited to programs where the sound is not essential. My tech savvy students of tomorrow need access today.
