My students are very resilient. They come to school with a smile on their faces ready to learn anything and everything. They are little sponges and are always asking me questions. I enjoy seeing how their little minds work and am intrigued by their inquisitive questions. Most of my students are socioeconomically disadvantaged receiving free or reduced breakfast and lunch at school. Many of the students live in shared apartments with little space of their own. They come to school with a desk all to themselves and it gives them their own special space. One of my students said to me the other day, "Teacher, I love school!" This made me so happy to know that they love the environment I provide for them. I try to make their learning as engaging and entertaining as possible. It brings me joy to see their excitement for learning.
