Thank you so much for visiting my Donors Choose site. By helping to complete funding for these projects, you are helping me educate these students in the best possible ways. My students live in very high poverty areas. These children always have a smile on their face and brighten my day. It is astonishing at some of the simple experiences that we all take for granted that I have been able to provide students with, that many students have never experienced before. Some of these include taking short trips outside of the school district, learning about some of the worlds wonders through history, experiencing different types of foods, etc. Just recently we were able to take a field trip to a movie theater where one of my students confessed he had never been before, but had always dreamed of going. Teaching focuses on a child's education, but it also can give so much more to students when support is provided.
