We have great kids at our school! We need extra help purchasing music supplies because we are a Title I elementary school. Music help kids discover their identity and find things they have in common with everyone. Knowing that they are important and loved is fundamental to them becoming productive happy people! My students are the most resourceful, creative and enthusiastic musicians and have produced some of the most heart felt and soulful renditions of music that I have ever heard in all my years as a musician. They find ways to use instruments and voices that I could never have dreamed of until becoming a teacher! They inspire me to create music every day! When they put their minds to a performance nothing stops them. They need help and materials but once they are given the opportunity they can create anything musical under the sun!
