My students are in the 5th grade, in AZ. It is a K-12 school. I want this year to be special because it is my first year teaching 5th grade. Last year, I taught middle school math and science. I want my students to really work on having peace in the classroom and understanding why peace is so important. This year, our focus is going to be on change. Change in ourselves, our community, and our world! I want to show my students how important it is to do the right thing and not bully each other from day 1. That is why I want to start off the year with celebrating World Peace Day!
