My students are wonderfully unique and diverse in ethnicity, culture, and abilities. Title I students have parents that care and want the best for their children, but sometimes are overwhelmed with work and trying to make ends meet. This can make it hard for some single or struggling parents to spend time helping with homework for their child's academic success. It is difficult for low income families to provide as much exposure to hands-on math learning materials and age-appropriate books because of their high cost. These children are eager to learn in a comfortable environment.

About my class
