I teach a great group of struggling students in a high need, low income area. My students' success is largely due to the use of teaching techniques that are effective for all learners, but especially English language learners, which make up a large portion of our population of students. Many of my students come to me below grade level in math and reading with a great deal of anxiety! With the right tools, however, I am able to help students overcome their hesitation and master math concepts and literacy skills!
