Camden County is known as one of the best school districts in the region. When military transfer season begins, the advice to families moving into the area is to make sure that children will be able to attend school in our system. Camden is also a great place to work for teachers and staff. We have a great learning community and a lot of encouragement from our neighbors. What we don't have is a lot of funding. Our small county doesn't have the tax base for funding science projects and our we aren't federally funded for at-risk populations. This is where we need the help of individuals. While I invest in my classroom on a regular basis, and ask my students and their families to contribute supplies when feasible, we can't do it all. Any size gift will get us closer to our educational goals in Camden County!
