My students come from very different walks of life. Each student has an IEP or 504 Plan that ensures that each student works at their own pace and has an optimal learning environment: Whether that be in a small group setting, one on one with the teacher, or working at their level on standards based computer programs. My school is right in the middle of two cities in our county. We are extremely diverse and cater to many socioeconomic and academic levels. I serve about 40-50 students with IEPs everyday Monday - Thursday for instruction and I serve an additional 20-25 students with 504 Plans on Fridays during their assessments. Some have very basic learning disabilities while other students are within the autism spectrum. I also see about 12 students for Social Skills. These students have various behavioral or social needs. One of my students' favorite things to do is use technology in the classroom!
