I teach a wonderfully sweet group of 8 to 11 year old mildly mentally disabled Life Skills class of 10 to 12 students in a low income, diverse, urban school. My students love to cook! It's part of their weekly lessons that they really look forward to because they get to see the results of their hard work right away and then enjoy devouring what they have created!
