The fifth graders of room 108 are a group of caring, hard-working 10 and 11-year-olds who have taken ownership of their learning by taking risks and thinking critically. They attend a very diverse school, with a wonderful staff, and compassionate leadership. Each morning, my 5th graders begin their day by writing in their journals and generating a positive goal for the day. These are intrinsically motivated learners, and I hope to harness and enrich this wonderfully positive energy by expanding their thinking each and every day.

About my class
