My students come from previous courses including Biology I, Chemistry I, and maybe even Anatomy/Physiology. My students are not necessarily the top of their class, but those that want to work hard. Students know more effort has to be put into their work than they have any any of their previous classes. My school is in a rural setting. Several students continue into post-secondary education, but there are many that will remain in the community and school system.
