Life is not black & white, nor should our learning be in the 21st century! Our students thrive with visual materials, but we can only provide them with black and white, Zzzz! Please help us put color in our life! My classroom is full of hard working kids who want to learn, and often are faced with the frustration of knowing that they have significant cognitive delays/deficits (i.e., non readers) that challenge and limit their level and rate of learning with traditional methods. A printer would allow me to produce colorful materials for them that would enhance their learning and communication in the classroom! A quality color printer would be a dream, something that will last for many, many years to come and allow us to provide students with as many opportunities as we can to learn with visual material, and make learning fun and interesting again regardless of their limitations!
