A Cricut Explore 2 is an important tool I need to help design and create a sensory path for my students. Sensory paths enable students to engage in activities that allow student movement and helps students stay calm and regulate their emotions. A sensory path using vinyl will be easy to clean too! By donating to my project, you not only will be helping my students learn to self-regulate, you will also be providing my students with an opportunity to regain focus to increase their academic achievement! Emotional intelligence is defined as "the capacity to be aware of, control, and express one's emotions, and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically." It is difficult for one to self regulate when one is not focused. I am so excited to provide my students this opportunity to release energy and/or emotions and return to class ready to excel with their learning.
