Our public school is in an urban setting in Michigan. 99% of our students receive free or reduced price lunch. We are fortunate to be using a blended learning model of teaching, but the netbooks we currently use have great limitations. Students in my class seem to lack motivation during traditional lessons. While I try to create fun and innovative lessons, they can't quite compare to the latest and greatest advancements in technology.
