In my classroom, I give my students many opportunities to learn through play during free choice centers. A light table will give them an opportunity to use manipulative to produce patterns, sort objects by shapes and colors, match numerals to quantities, identify letters, and spell their names, etc. There is an unlimited number of ways my students can use the light table to learn through play. These materials will allow the children to explore in new ways. Play is a preschooler’s work and this would help them learn in an engaging way!
