Having a classroom carpet will provide my students with a clean, soft area to share with each other and to learn. It will give us a spot to hold morning meetings, whole group lessons, and story times. Students will have a special place to buddy read, work on learning centers, and problem solve with partners. It will provide students with an alternate seating opportunity where they can lay down to read or work on an assignment. A classroom carpet will provide an area where students can foster peer relationships that will ensure positive self esteem and in turn a joy of learning.

About my class
