Our school is a relatively new charter school that services 700+ students from grades K-8. The students in my classroom come from diverse backgrounds and experiences. The majority of my students come from low income households and are from various ethnic backgrounds. One sixth of my students receive Special Education services and there are four English language learners in our class. Having so many students with such diverse needs proves to be a special challenge when trying to differentiate instruction.
