This year I have implemented a reading program using picture books, fiction and nonfiction, to teach reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing and grammar. I started this program in December with four books and we've read two books this month with one more to go. The students are interested in these books and the different activities we do with each book. The requested books will allow me to continue this reading program without having to purchase the books myself and increase academic learning in my classroom this year and with future classes.

About my class
