My students are a diverse group of caring, motivated first graders. Our school has an awesome culture for learning. Staff and parents work together to ensure students feel safe to take academic risks and explore new topics. About 57% of our students have free and reduced meals and many do not have access to a variety of books at home. Our classroom needs more resources to provide students with a variety of opportunities to be successful and access books at their reading level.
