As a Title I school, all my students all get free lunches. They come to school appreciative of the supplies the school provides. A visual/kinesthetic learning style dominates my class room this year. Creativity, fairness, talent, and drive are the qualities which create the energetic ambiance of our classroom community. They are critical thinkers, participators, active members and are always expected to be ready to back their claims with evidence and reasoning. Evidence comes in a variety of ways which include: tables, charts, pictures, drawings, thinking maps, and words. Color can bring partially developed ideas to their fullest fruition. My students are eager to learn and to show what they understand. They are flexible, make adjustments and are actively involved in developing concepts; the kind involvement that screams out for color. They deserve to see their work displayed with dignity and professionalism.
