Most of my students are non-verbal and have deficits with fine motor skills, difficulty holding a pencil making it challenging for them to write. In addition, they are non-readers as well. They need various tools to help them, iPads will allow them enhance their learning. Implementing iPads into the curriculum, will be an asset and allow them to meet some of their learning needs. They will be able to go to learning websites such as Reading A-Z, Starfall and ABCya where they can listen to stories, enchance their vocubulary and increase technology skills. It can be therapeutic as well.
