This camera, along with the others we already have will allow students to take photos and video in our Foundations of Arts and Digital Art classes. The uses are nearly endless: from taking portraits and other types of photographs to be edited in Photoshop, to filming video to be used in short narrative films and documentaries, to shooting frames for stop motion (claymation) animation, the camera is the first step in the (digital) creative process. This year, we have expanded our Arts program into an ambitious multi-media approach which necessitates more equipment at a time when resources are tight.

About my class
