My students need 3 Kindle Fire Tablets and protective cases. My students LOVE using games to learn and practice both new and review skills. We only have five classroom computers, so having Kindle Fire Tablets will allow half of my class to utilize technology at one time. Students will be able to use these tablets during small group math instruction to continue working on the skills we have learned. They will practice number sense, counting, patterning, and, most importantly, addition and subtraction facts. In reading, students will use these tablets during literacy centers to practice various skills such as sight word review and grammar skills. In addition, students will have the ability to experience books in a whole new way. They will see books come alive as they see, and possibly hear, them on the tablets.
