This write and wipe portable easel will give my students the ability to see literacy lessons being modeled at their eye level during both whole and small group instruction and it will allow the flexibility to have it moved around to any location in the room where lessons are being taught. Since it is designed for younger students they will also be able to reach it in order to manipulate letters and sounds into new words, track print during shared reading activities, as well as participate in shared writing opportunities. I'm excited to see both the developmental and academic growth they will make as well as a boost in their confidence which is a strong predictor for future success.
