Our school garden has become something that all of our students (and teachers!) love. Right now, we don't have tools or gloves for the students to use so they can help harvest the vegetables. I feel that they would get more out of our lessons if it were more hands on. We want them to be excited about gardening, learning where their food comes from, which insects help or hurt a garden, and taking care of their environment. We would also love a compost bin so we won't be wasteful. Our garden is definitely a labor of love. But our students constantly ask to go out to see it and love exploring there. WE APPRECIATE YOU!
