The materials I would like are different math games that will enhance the 2nd grade math curriculum. They will make learning fun. These games aren't teaching the curriculum, I am, but they are reinforcing the concepts. They are engaging activities that will help the students practice the concepts without realizing that they are learning. By playing these games they will be learning curriculum as well as practicing social skills that most of them are lacking. These are games that I can't afford to buy myself because of the money I have already spent on my classroom. I am not one of those teachers who invests a lot into decorations and themes for my classroom. If it doesn't reinforce the curriculum and help my students I don't put it on my walls. I have so little time to teach them everything they know. These games will give them what I can't.
