My 30 fourth graders come from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. I have students reading at kindergarten levels as well as 7th grade levels, and everything in between. In general, most of my students have a wealth of personal experiences to connect to when reading. Providing them with rich literature experiences as well is my goal.
