A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one. As a reading and writing teacher I hear again and again the words "but I don't like reading!" And every time I promise that they will. It is my mission every year, to find the one book that is the catalyst behind a lifetime love of good literature. I have yet to fail, as the students one by one, fall victim to a great story. Whether they fall in love with Captain Nemo and his incredible adventures or experience the devastation alongside Oliver they are held hostage for a while by the words spun by amazing writers!
