I have ninety lively and opinionated 7th graders. We live in a big city. The Students come from different parts of the city, different socioeconomic backgrounds, and different ethnicities. We are a K-8 school that is dedicated to helping students work together to create their own learning. They want to achieve and go to college. Their school district has been decimated in recent years by budget cuts. Students have noticed how the supplies and staff dwindled in recent years. They are angry and do not understand why this is happening to them.
