As a science cluster teacher, I believe that the best way for children to fully understand scientific concepts is through hands-on experiences. The children I currently teach, are from a predominantly immigrant population. They and their families value education, but may not take advantage of the outdoor experiences that are readily available in New York. Therefore, I try to take them outside to explore and also bring the outdoors inside to their classes. Please support me in these efforts! My children and I thank you!!
