I currently teach kindergarten at a Title I school, which I love. For some, this is their first experience in a school setting. For others it can be the first experience with any type of structure. It can be incredibly overwhelming for some students. My students are playful, eager, curious and excited to learn. I am lucky enough to be one of the first people to encourage a love of learning and instill a desire to become life long learners. My school collaborates with each other and the resources in the community to ensure the students are given the best opportunities. However, my school has an incredibly limited budget and the parents of my school are often only able to provide the required school supplies list. My classroom is very diverse in their learning needs and creating a environment that is comforting for all is imperative.
