I teach 1st grade students at a Title 1 school in Oklahoma. All students at the school receive free breakfast and lunch. My students face many challenges to their education simply do to a lack of resources and experiences. Due to the high poverty, many students do not have access to technology or books at home. Many students come from broken homes or are being raised by someone other than their biological parents. Our school is dedicated to providing optimal learning experiences for all students. One way our school is working towards making sure no child is left behind, is by employing aides to work with intervention groups.
