Welcome to my classroom. We are located in Colorado. Our school is made up of a diverse bunch of students. Half of our population is English Language Learners that depend on non-traditional ways of learning to grasp the concepts. Approximately 90% of the students rely on the free/reduced breakfast and lunch program, and clearly cannot spend money on activities that make learning engaging and exciting. This is exactly why I must provide for these kids while I have them in the classroom for 8 hours a day. This is my sixth year at the school I am at and my third year in first grade at this school. I am consistently looking for opportunities to help my students grow in all areas of life so that they will be successful members of the community.
