Most of our students are underprivileged and don't have the means to own equipment outside of the school environment, so going to a convention on the other side of the country is going to be an incredible adventure and expensive. This past school year, their commitment and dedication led them to win various national and state awards. Regardless of their struggles, they work very hard and do their best to focus on writing and recording news packages and short films. Their broadcasting class is one of the main reasons they come to school everyday. We are hoping to attend the national convention this year so they can show what hard work can do.

About my class
