My students lack access to technology in their homes. This limits their opportunities to learn with 21st tools. The Kindle Fires would provide the much needed practice to reinforce their learning. My students will benefit greatly by using the Kindle Fire tablet when they work independently during small group reading time and during math to support number sense and fluency. I would also like my students to use the tablet with a partner to encourage them to strengthen their conversational skills. My students will also be able to develop fine motor skills, as well as listening skills while they use the Kindle Fire tablet to listen to stories.
