I teach a students in grades 3 - 5 with autism. My students function at a variety of levels from lower functioning to high functioning. I have a student who is non-verbal and a few with significant speech deficits. Most of my students have some level of cognitive impairment. I teach in a public school that is running on a significant deficit, so money for ANY materials, including technology, is simply not available at this time.
