I am looping with my students this year. In other words, I'm moving up with them to the next grade level. New chairs will help promote safety and allow students to have a colorful, eye-popping classroom. Unlike the sofa we had last school year, this will grant opportunities for the chairs to be sanitized daily. Also, since students will be unable to work in groups because of Covid-19, students will be unable to learn on our beloved purple couch this school year. Students were very engaged on our bright, purple couch. Eyes were consistently on me, and the color of the couch kept them motivated. It was like magic! I believe their engagement will continue on the purple, durable chairs. I know they would love them as well!
