I am the proud teacher of a group of pre-school to kindergarten aged students challenged with multiple disabilities, including vision, hearing, physical, medical and cognitive issues. They are amazing students who come from several different communities. In their lifetimes they have faced multiple surgeries, illnesses and prematurity. Yet, when I look upon their faces I see joy and happiness and real sense of peace. I wish only the best for them and It is my job as their teacher to provide them with a welcoming and warm classroom environment, dedicated staff to see to their needs and lessons and activities geared to their very unique abilities and challenges. Others see their limits but we see only their potential!
