Our high school has 9-12th graders from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds who have experienced adverse childhood experiences such as grief and loss, divorce, community violence, domestic violence, and poverty. These experiences make it difficult for students to focus in school and to learn. Through partnerships through Donors Choose, we are able to support and nurture our students to be at their best.

About my class
