This project will serve approximately 139 K-2 students. The school is an integral part of our community. Receipt of funds through this project would benefit our youngest citizens' educational opportunities. State data has shown that Fayette's at-risk population continues to be behind other school district's populations when comparing test scores in reading and math. We feel that increasing our students' access to technology will provide them with more engaging opportunities for practice with immediate feedback. We were very fortunate to receive the iPads but they need protective cases. As students take pictures, scan QR codes, and create projects they need to carry the iPad around with them. We have tile floors and our iPads need the protective cases to help keep them safe with our little learners! Please help fund our project so the iPads can be used more in our classrooms.
