These materials will make a difference in my student's learning because they will have access to basic school supplies to help them be successful in the classroom. They will be prepared to learn when they arrive at school in the morning. They will be able to use markers and crayons to create charts for helping with math skills like multiplication facts and mathematical procedures. They will be able to use highlighters to gather helpful information while working on reading comprehension skills. They will also have access to materials to work on hands-on projects to make learning more engaging and meaningful. For example they would be able to create a diorama to learn how to present information to groups. They will also be able to create artwork to display in the classroom and to work on fine motor skills. Students will also be able to use these supplies at home to work on academic skills such as completing homework.
