The books that we selected will used to allow each of my young learners to have their own copy of the story I will be reading to them virtually. This will also allow them the opportunity to"read" the book independently or to share it with a family member at a later time thus allowing for review and reinforcement. The manipulative materials will be used for counting, sorting, building and for comparing quantstities. The dry erase boards will be used for practicing pre writing skills as well as numbers and shapes. The stock paper, laminating pouches and magnetic tape will be used for teacher made materials that specifically address individual skills based on each child's IEP. All Children, especialy those with special needs, learn best when they are able to manipulate their environment and use a hands on approach to learning.
