My classroom is a busy, talkative place in a Metroplex city in Texas; it is filled with twenty 6 and 7 year-old students from different socioeconomic backgrounds and experiences. Some students have collections of books at home and read nightly and some rely on books from school to have any literature at home to read. All of my students have one thing in common though- they love to come together as a class and discuss our learning! They are all bright and eager to learn. I can't wait to see where this author study takes us!
