My students are 8 unique individuals with Multiple disabilities. They attend a public school where many of the students live in poverty. Many of these children can not afford the basic essentials we all take for granted. Imagine what it must be like to learn in an environment where your main priority is survival. Many are not worried about learning to read and write. They face many challenges that others in their peer group could not imagine.
