Ours is a neighborhood school that has a diverse group of students. Some of our little ones come in and this is their very first experience with school. Others come from area preschool programs. We have students with plenty of learning resources, as well as students who struggle to make ends meet. In our half day kindergarten program, the home connection for learning has become a necessity. We must provide each student with the supplies to read each night with their families.
