My students are designated as "gifted and talented", but many come from disadvantaged homes. The school where I teach is "inner-city" and many students face challenges such as not having enough resources to learn using newer technologies, such as iPads. Many students' parents even ask me to borrow books for them to read because books aren't available at home. Having an iPad in the classroom would be a wonderful resource to research, use apps, and be creative.
