My kids are a very diverse mix, both ethnically and economically. Our district has been providing some technology, but the reality of today's world is that a few laptop carts for 1200 students just isn't enough. Our school is nice, but sometimes a nice building can hide some disturbing inequalities. Low-cost and targeted technology can help alleviate some of the negative consequences of those inequalities.
