The students that would benefit from these calculators would be my algebra 1 students who need to add, subtract, multiply and divide to conquer more challenging problems in math. The students are very kind and willing to learn they just need a little extra help with simple math. These students always race to see who can get the 3 tiny calculators that I have in the classroom before a test since they know they cannot use a cell phone. They know that having a calculator will help them in math class they just don't have enough of them. These students attend a large high school in Colorado. I as a teacher have three Algebra 1 classes that would benefit from having a classroom set of calculators.
